So my ADORABLE friend is a budding young author from Portland, OR. Check out her HYSTERICAL video. Her message of anti-bullying and “just be yourself” is quite moving! So I have one day left in this year of my life and, shockingly, I learned a few things over the past 12 months! Here are a few of the highlights:
- Good things come to those who wait, so be patient and don’t EVER give up hope!
- Sisters are the greatest gift a girl could receive.
- (and also on that note…) Kaylee REALLY likes Cheetah Print.
- Cupcakes can solve almost any problem.
- Even on the most terrible of days things could ALWAYS be worse, so appreciate the GOOD!
- Music heals. So does time.
- I love Los Angeles with all my heart.
- Travel the world, it has SO much to offer! (Especially Argentina… it rocks.)
- You get what you give.
- Believe in yourself. If you don’t, how can you expect anyone else to?
- I have an arguably unhealthy addiction to How I Met Your Mother, The Office and Glee.
- Make your dreams come true. You have more control over making them happen than you think.
- Ellen Degeneres is a goddess.
- Kids have some pretty insightful things to say, so listen to them.
- You are beautiful.
